The GECCO eCTD viewer / validator was designed by leading experts who were instrumental in developing the ICH eCTD specification.

GECCO can load and display an eCTD with any number of sequences (Standard and Pro editions). Simple to install (one single executable), easy to use (no training required) and with no server setup required, you can download GECCO Basic (FREE) and get started in minutes (registration required).

The eCTD validator (GECCO Pro only) allows you to check any eCTD for compliance with the ICH eCTD specification (Version 3.2)  and regional requirements in the US, EU and Canada. Rules are user configurable (rules which are considered “critical” are always run).

1. New regional specification: EU M1 version 1.2.1 support added. GECCO now supports versions 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2.1 of the EU regional DTD.
2. Performance: GECCO Pro - now possible to select / validate and view a single sequence.
3. Performance: GECCO Pro users can now indicate whether MD5 checksums should be verified when opening an eCTD.
4. Performance: GECCO Pro users will now see the name of each file being checked displayed in the progress bar during the validation process.
5. Performance: GECCO Pro users can now cancel the validation in progress.
6. Interoperability: Empty sequence folder at highest numbered sequence (produced by some builders) is now a non-critical error.
7. Regional requirement: 6 new (user selectable) rules added to GECCO Pro to validate EU module 1 naming of folders and files.
